I'm on the road and have been on the road for a month. Man, I miss ashley. I have had a GREAT time though. I'm in Houston, Texas right now and will have a show tonight here, and will go to Austin and Dallas in the next couple of days. then HOME!!! WOO HOO! I have been playing with Matt Wertz and this new artist, named Josh Hoge. His music is GREAT! I think his single will be on the radio in a couple of months, so look out for a song called 360. It will tickle your ear drums.
I'm watching an old school Cops on TV as i'm writing this...and a guy in a wheelchair is firing several shots. it's pretty intense... Ok now the guy is dead. Everyone can come out now. I love a happy ending.
Well, I've been trying to eat healthy on this tour. It's really hard not to, since we eat at restaurants for every meal. I hope ashley recognizes me when I come home. I've gained 80 pounds. I have 4 nights left in hotels, so hopefully they all have workout facilities.
I just a had a week-long run with the Micah Dalton. I must say, it was a gay old time. And when I say gay, I mean it literally...but not in a homosexual way. (Please leave personal opinions out of this.) Anyway, we got to stay at this beach house in Charleston, South Carolina. The house was neat. It didn't have heat, as most beach houses shouldn't. The weather was cold, so all five of us woke up with pneumonia. Well, we at least felt like it. Okay, none of us really felt like it. But Micah did wake up and realized he slept on a cockroach all night. He must have had a hard time getting cozy with that little critter underneath him because all the legs were ripped off when he woke up. Sorry if that was a little graphic. I got to hang out with Luke, Jon Hainstock, and Konrad Snyder this weekend. That was also a gay old time. And when Luke is involved you all know what type of "gay" I mean. Speaking of Luke here is a picture of Luke and myself at a convention. Ashley took the picture. High fives to Ashley!
Hi everyone! I'm in Nashville now for a few days! Boy it's good to be home! Boy. Today's my birthday. I'm 22. 11x2. 24-2. 20+2. Sorry about that. Well, this one's gonna be short. Nothing real exciting has happened to me recently. HOWEVER~ check out who has Xanga NOW. My New Xanga Friend!
Folks, I'm back. Back to Xanga. Back in Anderson. I apologize. I haven't been too busy to write. It's just that I haven't had anything exciting to write about. So here will be an attempt at something maybe exciting. You can let me know how exciting it is one a scale of 1-10. One being the worst and 10 being the best. Did I really have to explain that? Well, I'm in Anderson now. I just played a few shows with Jon and Luke. It has been really good hanging out with them. Mostly with Luke, though. Sometimes Jon can...well you know. Okay, I don't either. Last weekend I was forunate enough to play with a band called MikesChair and we had the opportunity to open up for Kevin Max, from the former band known as dc talk. He has a great voice but he is a diva. Diva with a capital D. And a capital A. And a capital I. No capital v though. Why? Kevin doesn't deserve it. No he doesn't. He probably gets all the attention he wants. He even got my attention. So here's my attention, Kevin, but no capital v.
Well, I got online today thinking that I will write about what I have been doing lately. But the thing is, I don't do anything. I just got home from being on the road, basically all summer. And I decided not to take classes at Belmont because I would have missed too much. So here I am at home. Me and home. Don't get me wrong, I love being at home with my wife and dog, but I wake up every morning trying to discover a new hobby I might acquire. Is this going to be the case for the rest of my life? If any of you can think of a good new hobby, please let me know.
